Industrialization

SERMA Ingénierie applies its expertise to the industrialization of electronic and mechatronic systems for demanding industries such as aeronautics, space, defence and medical. With complete control of the production cycle, we guarantee robust, certified solutions tailored to our customers’ needs.

Production

SERMA specialises in the production of embedded systems and sub-assemblies subject to stringent environmental and regulatory constraints.

We support our customers throughout the lifecycle of their products, ensuring maintenance in operational conditions (MCO) and optimising equipment reliability.

We handle all stages of production:

  • Sourcing and selection of suppliers in line with industry requirements.
  • Supply management and stock security.
  • Assembly of electronic and mechatronic systems.
  • Temperature and vibration testing and validation before delivery.
  • Certification of equipment under 21G approval for new products and under PART 145 for maintenance and repair operations.

Integration

The integration of sub-assemblies is a key phase in ensuring the performance and conformity of the products delivered.

SERMA ensures a rigorous process including :

  • Thorough incoming inspection to guarantee the quality of the components and sub-assemblies received.
  • Secure storage of sensitive parts and equipment.
  • Final assembly and validation according to industry-specific standards.

Our integration methods guarantee optimum traceability and compliance with aeronautical, military and medical standards.

Test

Testing is an essential stage in our industrialisation process.

Thanks to our ‘Products and Test Equipment’ department, in collaboration with our Design Office, we design and operate customised test benches for :

  • Functional tests to validate system performance.
  • Passive and electrical tests to guarantee component reliability.
  • Climatic and thermal tests to assess product resistance to harsh environments.

This approach reduces the risk of failure and optimises equipment life.

Supply chain

Controlling the supply chain is a strategic element in ensuring production continuity and product availability.

SERMA implements advanced logistics flow management processes:

  • Securing the supply chain to avoid stock shortages.
  • Rigorous control of suppliers and sourcing of alternative solutions in the event of shortages.
  • Anticipating ramp-ups to keep pace with our customers’ increased production rates.
  • Optimising costs and lead times through high-performance logistics.

Our supply chain expertise enables us to meet the most stringent requirements in terms of lead times and quality.
