SERMA Ingénierie, first company in Toulouse to comply with the new PART-IS 21G regulation

Cybersecurity is now a major challenge in the aerospace industry.

With cyberattacks targeting critical information systems on the rise, it’s becoming essential for industry players to beef up their protection.

It is against this backdrop that the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has introduced PART-IS, a new European regulation aimed at ensuring the security of information systems in civil aviation and businesses. This regulatory change is based on the international standard ISO 27001, the benchmark for information security management.

To support this transition, the Ministry of Transport has published a practical guide to help all French and European companies operating in the aeronautics sector to comply in time, i.e. before 16 October 2025.

Thanks to its responsiveness in dealing with regulatory issues and its ISO 27001 certification, SERMA Ingénierie is the first company in Toulouse to have integrated the PART-IS requirements into its 21G approval, which covers the production and certification of new equipment in the aerospace sector.

In addition, a compliance file has also been submitted for approval 145, which concerns the maintenance of aeronautical equipment.

With this dual approach, SERMA Ingénierie confirms its ability to anticipate regulatory changes and combine technical excellence with rigour in aeronautical cybersecurity.

Well done to all the teams!
