Etienne Poirier, Director of Operations SERMA Ingénierie, and Paul Sauvageot, CEO of ISP System, signed on 21st April 2023 a consortium around the FLYCERA project, selected by the France 2030 program: to produce low-carbon aircraft in France.
This signature took place in the presence of the Prefect of the Hautes-Pyrénées, Jean SALOMON, and the sub-prefect of the Tarbes district, Guillot Nathalie.
The FLYCERA project aims to develop intelligent and innovative rotary electric actuators for the flight control of low-carbon aircraft. The targeted applications are regional and general aviation and drones.
SERMA Ingénierie is responsible for developing the electronic boards associated with this smart actuator, with a criticality level of DAL A.
SERMA plans to hire 15 people to develop this project, which starts in 2023; the first series should be available by the end of 2025.
More globally, the FLYCERA project will contribute to the creation of 80 jobs from now until 2030.
