SERMA Ingénierie wins the Trophée de l’Embarqué Critique for its work on the Crash Recorder, the latest generation of ultra-compact LFR equipment!

On January 11, 2024, at the Assises de l’Embarqué in Paris, our Banksia project stood out from the 15 other projects in the running and won one of the 5 prestigious Trophées de l’Embarqué thanks to the brilliant presentation by our expert engineers, Guillaume Roquet and David Marty.

The Embedded Critical Trophy underlines the safety and robustness of the equipment developed in the face of environmental constraints.

The Banksia project aims to develop a flight recorder for light helicopters, capable of storing flight data and restoring it after a crash.
Called LFR: Lightweight Flight Recorder, this equipment is a real technological feat.
With exceptional ED-155-compatible resistance to extreme conditions, intelligent integration of 4K video, audio and data, this ultra-lightweight flight recorder redefines standards by pushing the boundaries of physics.

This ETSO equipment is a world first in terms of its weight and features!

Congratulations to Guillaume and David for winning this prestigious trophy, and to the SERMA Ingénierie teams for their work on this futuristic project.

Many thanks to Association Embedded France for their confidence!
